Day 20. We arrive at Sue's house

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

We were excited to visit with Sue again. We haven't seen her for many years. Sharon and Sue are sisters and both are a lot of fun. Sue also had a beautiful home with a gorgeous view. She had her two granddaughters over to play with Maegan and they had a great time together.

So... Maegan,Brittney and Belle decided they wanted to set up a lemonade stand. They worked hard to get it ready. The funniest thing that I didn't get a picture of was Bill on the corner dancing to get attention. Well... Maybe it's better I didn't capture it in film.

Houses in Washington D.C

We were fascinated with how the houses are tall and skinny with NO room between them at all. They are however, different colors.

Bill helping Grandee up after her roll down the hill.

The wind was blowing which felt wonderful in the heat wave. The problem was it blew off Grandee's hat. The next thing we knew she was running down hill to capture it and in the next moment she was rolling down the hill with it. Luckily no one got hurt, not even Grandee's hat.

I remember this being my favorite thing to see as a child. I think it is still one of my favorite things to watch.

Fairfield Inn

The Fairfield Inn was a great historic site that is now a great place to eat. We stopped at Mitch and Sharon's then off to eat. The food here was great!
